Job summary

Handelsbanken is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced .NET developer to join the Wealth and Asset Management division. The role focuses on in-house .NET web and Windows applications, with a 50/50 mix of issue-resolution and change/project work.

The successful candidate will design, build and modify business-tier components and databases, while collaborating with infrastructure and business teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong development experience using C# .NET
• Experience with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, MVC and APIs
• Relevant technical certifications (preferable)
• University qualifications (preferable)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent team-working skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Adherence to good development practices

Responsibilities

• Design, build and modify business-tier components, web apps and DB objects using C#/.NET Core/Web API/ASP.NET
• Support and troubleshoot DEV, UAT and PROD environments
• Analyze, estimate, design and execute system changes
• Implement security, scalability, logging and quality controls
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders
• Assist in migrating on-prem systems to Azure (where applicable)
• Work across waterfall and Agile development environments
