Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a .NET Developer to join a technology-led business powering a large-scale online platform used by millions. You will contribute to design, development and maintenance of business-critical applications, working with product teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

Based in Manchester, you'll develop .NET applications and APIs, help build scalable software, support CI/CD pipelines, participate in an on-call rota, and drive continuous improvement in code quality

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET development and API design.
• Experience designing and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

As they continue to invest in their proprietary technology, they're looking for a .NET Developer to join a collaborative engineering team building high-performance, scalable systems.

This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the design, development and maintenance of business-critical applications, working closely with developers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure solutions.

The role:

• Develop and maintain .NET applications and APIs
• Build scalable, high-quality software using modern engineering practices
• Contribute to system design and technical decision-making
• Work closely with Product, QA and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and platform reliability
• Participate in a paid on-call rota
• Drive continuous improvement across code quality, processes and delivery

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET
• Experience designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL or event-driven)
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching technologies
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles
• Experience working within Agile environments
• Familiarity with application monitoring and observability
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
