Embarcaderomediagroup is seeking a .NET Developer to join our engineering team and help build and evolve a SaaS platform used by business customers around the clock. The role is backend-focused, using C# and .NET to create reliable, secure APIs and services across the stack.

You’ll design, implement and test backend components, work on multi-tenant solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and production support.

.NET Developer

We’re looking for a .NET Developer to join our engineering team, building and evolving a SaaS platform used by many business customers operating 24/7.

The role is primarily backend focused, working with C# and .NET to build APIs and services that need to be reliable, secure and performant. You’ll be involved throughout the software lifecycle - from understanding a problem and designing a solution through development, testing, deployment and production support.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and maintaining backend services and APIs using .NET.
• Working on a multi-tenant SaaS platform with demanding availability and performance requirements.
• Writing automated tests and helping us continue our move towards shift-left quality.
• Troubleshooting production issues using logs, metrics and traces, and helping prevent recurrence.
• Reviewing code and contributing to technical discussions.
• Improving the code and systems you work with, including automating repetitive tasks where appropriate.
• Considering security, reliability and operational impact as part of normal development.
• Participating in the engineering on-call rota.
  

What we’re looking for

You’ll have good commercial experience with C# and modern .NET and be comfortable taking ownership of meaningful pieces of work.

• Diagnosing anomalies in production systems

We’re more interested in strong engineering fundamentals and good judgement than experience with every technology we use.
