Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Join our expanding NICU, working with complex neonates and supporting Family Integrated Care. Collaborate with regional services and specialist teams to deliver exceptional care. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, and embraces change.

Person Specification:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult or Child), with 6-12 months minimum post-registration experience
  • Genuine interest in neonatal nursing and development
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and experience
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Registered nurse on the appropriate register
  • Knowledge of current issues in acute health services
  • Understanding of personal accountability and team role
  • Experience in teaching/supporting learners
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development and recent study
  • Previous relevant experience or qualification in neonatal care is desirable
