Job summary

We are recruiting for a Band 7 Paediatric Specialist Dietitian (NICU) at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. The role supports neonatal nutrition in the NICU and outpatients, working alongside another Band 7 neonatal dietitian within a dynamic MDT.

The ideal candidate has solid acute paediatric dietetic experience; neonatal exposure is a plus. You will contribute to training, service development and research in neonatal nutrition.

Qualifications

• Acute paediatric dietetic experience essential.
• Some neonatal dietetic experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert dietetic input for neonatal unit patients and outpatient clinic.
• Lead service development within the neonatal dietetic service.
• Supervise and develop junior dietitians and support staff.
• Work within MDT to deliver evidence-based nutrition care.
• Participate in training and education of students and healthcare staff.
