Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is seeking a Specialist Dietitian for the Paediatric and Neonatal teams at Nottingham Children's Hospital. The role is a 1.0 WTE rotational post across paediatric and neonatal services, offering broad exposure to clinical specialties and teamwork.

You will provide specialist dietary advice, undertake nutritional assessments, and participate in MDT efforts to improve patient care, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with eligible NHS practice.
• Experience in paediatric or neonatal settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dietetic support to paediatric and neonatal patients with Consultants and Specialist Nurses.
• Undertake nutritional assessments and implement interventions including oral and enteral nutrition.
• Rotational post across paediatric and neonatal services to develop broad clinical skills.
• Collaborate with MDT to improve patient outcomes and reduce admissions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and service improvement.
