Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Neonatal Clinical Fellow based at St James University Hospital, Leeds. This fixed-term 12-month post is suitable for ST4+ / Registrar level with paediatrics and neonatology experience, and GMC-registered candidates ready to start.

Candidates will work within a large MDT, participate in Tier 2 rota coverage, and contribute to service development and teaching while delivering high quality neonatal care across Level 2 and Level 3

Qualifications

• Must be GMC registered and hold a license to practice by start date.
• Experience in paediatrics and neonatology is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to contribute to teaching and service development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Tier 2 rota coverage at SJUH and provide inpatient care for neonates.
• Lead and participate in service development projects with oversight from clinical leads.
• Collaborate within a MDT to deliver high-quality neonatal care across levels 2 and 3 units.
