Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is seeking a Band 7 Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse to lead the neonatal nursing team across City and QMC. The role spans both sites with 24-hour responsibility for care delivery, staffing and budgets.

You will oversee clinical leadership, mentor junior staff and drive improvements in care standards for our tertiary neonatal services, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to support families.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with neonatal experience and leadership potential.
• Evidence of continued professional development and teaching/mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the neonatal services nursing team across City and QMC campuses.
• Provide 24-hour responsibility for staffing, budget and care standards in neonatal services.
• Develop, implement and review patient care policies and clinical guidelines.
