Job summary

Southdown in Lewes is seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Projects Coordinator to help shape a new neighbourhood approach to mental health and wellbeing across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. You will coordinate projects, monitor progress and turn ideas into practical actions, collaborating with Neighbourhood Leads and local partners.

The role requires you to build strong relationships with community organisations, gather feedback, and promote access to local services.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering events and facilitating meetings.
• Willingness to work at least one evening a week.
• Full driving licence and access to a car, or willingness to travel across Sussex by public transport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, community activities and partnerships to support neighbourhood wellbeing across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.
• Support Neighbourhood Leads by organizing meetings, workshops, events and community engagement activities.
• Build relationships with community organisations, stakeholders and residents; maintain community resource directories.
• Gather and analyse feedback, monitor participation, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Contribute to the development of neighbourhood wellbeing services across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.
