Job summary

Peabody is seeking a Neighbourhood Manager to deliver high-quality housing management and build strong relationships with residents and partners. You will oversee tenancy matters, engage communities, carry out estate visits and coordinate support with specialist teams.

This field-based role requires flexibility, responsiveness and a proactive approach to improving customer satisfaction across Brent, Hackney and Westminster communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, community services or a similar environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently.
• Experience working with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations.
• Knowledge of housing management or UK Housing Law is desirable.
• A housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH is desirable. Or be prepared to work towards one
• Knowledge or experience of HMO’s would be desirable

As a Neighbourhood Manager, you'll be the face of Peabody in your area, delivering excellent housing management services and working closely with residents to create safe, well-managed and welcoming neighbourhoods.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work with residents, community groups, local authorities and internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and deliver positive outcomes.

• This is a field-based role, with approximately 60% of your time spent on-site within the community. The areas include Brent, Hackney and Westminster.
• You will be required to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.
• Flexibility is required to respond to customer and service needs.
