Job summary

Peabody is seeking a proactive Neighbourhood Manager to deliver high-quality housing management across our communities. You’ll build strong relationships with residents, local authorities and partner agencies to create safe, welcoming neighbourhoods and positive outcomes.

This field-based role requires around 60% on-site presence within Brent, Hackney and Westminster, with an out-of-hours emergency rota and a focus on resident involvement, safeguarding and tenancy management.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, community services or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently.
  • Experience working with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • Knowledge of housing management or UK Housing Law is desirable.
  • Housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH is desirable. Or be prepared to work towards one
  • Knowledge or experience of HMO’s would be desirable

  • Promote resident involvement and help shape local services through community feedback

Neighbourhood Manager – Make a Difference in Your Community

Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and helping communities thrive? As a Neighbourhood Manager, you’ll be the face of Peabody in your area, delivering excellent housing management services and working closely with residents to create safe, well-managed and welcoming neighbourhoods.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll work with residents, community groups, local authorities and internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and deliver positive outcomes.

  • You will be required to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.
  • Flexibility is required to respond to customer and service needs.
