Job summary

Peabody is seeking a proactive Neighbourhood Manager to deliver high-quality housing management across our communities. You’ll build strong relationships with residents, local authorities and partner agencies to create safe, welcoming neighbourhoods and positive outcomes.

This field-based role requires around 60% on-site presence within Brent, Hackney and Westminster, with an out-of-hours emergency rota and a focus on resident involvement, safeguarding and tenancy management.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, community services or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently.
  • Experience working with residents, stakeholders and partner organisations.
  • Knowledge of housing management or UK Housing Law is desirable.
  • Housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH is desirable. Or be prepared to work towards one
  • Knowledge or experience of HMO’s would be desirable

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management service across your patch.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders and partner agencies to support thriving communities.
  • Manage tenancy matters, safeguarding concerns, ASB cases and neighbourhood issues.
  • Carry out estate inspections, welcome visits and resident engagement activities.
  • Viewings and sign up of new tenancies
  • Support vulnerable residents and work with specialist teams to coordinate appropriate support.
  • Promote resident involvement and help shape local services through community feedback
