Neighbourhood Manager

Salary: £34,285 - £36,089
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Location: Staines/Hybrid

About us: A2Dominion is a housing provider operating across Southern England. With a rich history spanning over 70 years, we are committed to creating vibrant, sustainable communities that enhance the lives of our residents. At A2Dominion, we pride ourselves on our values of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. With a dedicated team of professionals, we consistently strive to exceed industry standards.

Role overview: Are you ready to make a real impact in the heart of vibrant communities? As a Neighbourhood Manager at A2Dominion, no two days will ever be the same. You’ll be the face of the company, directly shaping the lives of residents by providing the support, care, and attention that make their communities thrive!

You’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional neighbourhood management across a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-tenure buildings. Your work will directly enhance the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of our residents while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

From conducting estate inspections and managing building safety to handling tenancy issues like anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, you’ll be at the forefront of creating vibrant, thriving communities.

If you’re passionate about making a difference, building strong relationships, and driving high-quality service, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of our communities!

Key responsibilities:

  1. Conduct estate, scheme, and property inspections to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
  2. Support residents with tenancy management issues such as anti-social behaviour, disputes, and safeguarding concerns.
  3. Work closely with internal departments and external partners to address building maintenance and safety.
  4. Engage with residents through regular communication, ensuring their concerns are heard and acted upon.
  5. Provide tailored support to vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met.
  6. Gather feedback from residents to continually improve services and ensure satisfaction.
  7. Represent the company in external meetings, attend court proceedings, and support residents through various issues.

More about you:

You’re passionate about making a difference and have a strong foundation in housing management, with experience or a willingness to learn about building safety, fire safety, and tenancy issues. You understand the importance of safeguarding and are committed to helping residents, especially vulnerable groups, feel safe and supported.

You have some experience in managing tenancy matters, such as anti-social behaviour, and an understanding of housing law and regulations, or you’re eager to develop your knowledge in these areas. You thrive in problem-solving, and you’re able to communicate clearly and effectively with residents from all backgrounds, simplifying complex issues when needed. You’re IT-savvy, comfortable with tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, and have an eye for detail when it comes to data.

A clean UK driving licence is essential, and if you don’t already hold a professional housing qualification, you’ll be ready to work towards one. You’re ready to step into a role where your skills will make a lasting impact!

Choosing us is easy: As an employee of A2Dominion, we want you to feel rewarded and have a choice of flexible benefits, salary exchange benefits, and rewards and discounts that work for you, wherever you are in your life.

We offer a wide range of staff benefits. For this role, these include:

  1. 25 days’ holiday (Plus Bank Holidays) increasing up to 28 days with 3 years of service
  2. Up to 8% contributory pension
  3. Flexible working
  4. Investment in your learning and development.
