Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a Neighbourhood Officer to manage a patch of properties across Blackburn. This field-based role combines working in the community with desk-based tasks to deliver high-quality tenancy management and strong customer support.

You will work with residents, partners and teams to resolve issues, support tenancy sustainment, and help build sustainable communities. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential; hybrid working and a 37-hour week are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in general needs housing management and estate management standards.
• Proven experience in dealing with the public, including distressed individuals, and providing tenancy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) and manage lettings and property exchanges.
• Oversee repairs, rent management and safeguarding; collaborate with multi-agency teams.
• Advise residents on housing issues, conduct property viewings, and enforce tenancy conditions.
