Reed is seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join a busy local authority housing service in Welwyn Garden City. The role focuses on tenancy and neighbourhood management to support residents and maintain safe, sustainable communities.

You will deliver an effective housing service across a designated patch, handle tenancy issues, audits and estate inspections, and work with residents, contractors and external agencies.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in housing management or tenancy management.
• Good understanding of housing legislation and tenancy enforcement.
• Experience managing challenging and sensitive casework.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Competent IT and record-keeping skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver an effective housing and tenancy management service across a designated patch.
• Manage tenancy issues, neighbourhood concerns and estate management matters.
• Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour cases.
• Conduct tenancy audits, sign-ups, home visits and estate inspections.
• Support vulnerable tenants and facilitate access to support services.
• Manage tenancy changes including successions and mutual exchanges.
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and case management information.
• Work in partnership with residents, contractors and external agencies.
