Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment seeks a Local Housing Officer to cover Wembley Chalk Hill Estate. The role is a temp rolling contract (37.5 hours per week) with a pay rate of 29.12 per hour (Umbrella).

You will manage and coordinate housing and estate services within a defined area and be customer-facing, representing our values. Key duties include coordinating internal and external services, handling complaints, tenancy management, lettings, and working with Local Authority partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in Housing Management / Senior Housing Officer roles.
• Knowledge of housing practice and housing law.
• Ability to handle diverse customers with complex needs.
• Strong administration and numeracy skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate housing and estate services in a defined area.
• Represent the service to customers across tenures.
• Coordinate internal and external services to meet needs.
• Deliver high-quality services meeting local needs.
• Engage in local community projects; may include weekends.
• Seek continuous improvement in service delivery and satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with Local Authority and Housing Association partners.
• Serve as point of contact for complaints, tenancy management, lettings.
