Job summary

Ongo Recruitment is seeking an ASB Officer to investigate anti-social behaviour, hate crime, and tenancy issues across Ongos neighbourhoods in Scunthorpe. The role combines enforcement with support, engaging residents and agencies to promote safe communities.

Responsibilities include preparing evidence, attending court, and leading multi-agency meetings. The role requires a full UK driving licence and a proactive, collaborative approach to safeguarding and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, legal, or community settings.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy, and best practice.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with resilience.
• Experience in partnership working with statutory and support services.
• Commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Investigate ASB, hate crime, and tenancy breaches.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve cases.
• Lead and represent Ongo at multi-agency meetings.
• Prepare evidence, legal documentation, and attend court proceedings.
• Deliver training and coaching to colleagues and partners on ASB and tenancy management.
• Respond to serious ASB incidents within 24 hours with a harm-centered approach.
• Maintain accurate case records and provide timely updates to tenants and stakeholders.
• Ensure safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety compliance.
