Job summary

Places for People is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to be a visible presence in our communities. You will manage tenancies, inspect properties, and work with the Community Safety Team to uphold contractual obligations while keeping estates safe, clean and well-maintained.

You will review tenancy details, contribute to continuous improvement plans, and report to the Area Manager. The role combines field work with flexible home-based elements.

Qualifications

• Social housing experience in a Housing Officer role or similar.
• Tenancy Management/ Tenancy Sustainability experience.
• Basic DBS check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenancy and estate management services in communities.
• Carry out tenancy reviews and property inspections with team.
• Manage neighbourhoods to maintain safety, cleanliness and standards.
