Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Community Housing Manager to deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a regional patch of around 450 homes in Oxfordshire, Reading and Wokingham. You will own tenancy and neighbourhood issues and find practical solutions for customers, inspect communal areas and tackle anti-social behaviour.

Qualifications

• Social housing experience.
• Experience delivering housing, tenancy or neighbourhood management services within a customer-focused organisation.
• Experience managing housing-related issues such as anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, safeguarding or tenancy sustainment.
• Experience of working with vulnerable customers.
• A valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tenancy and neighbourhood issues and find practical solutions.
• Regularly inspect communal areas and manage anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.
• Support customers to sustain their tenancies and help ensure communities remain safe and well maintained.
• Oversee service charge budgets for the schemes you manage and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers through safeguarding procedures.
