Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor (NEC Contracts) to join our UK Energy & Natural Resources team. You will manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting across a variety of client projects, ensuring governance and value engineering are embedded in delivery.

Ideal candidates bring NEC3/Option C experience, sound cost management and procurement skills, and a collaborative approach to lead contract changes and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3 contracts, Option C preferred.
• Strong cost management and valuation skills.
• Experience in change management and control.
• Procurement, reporting and cost forecasting expertise.
• Collaborative approach and value engineering familiarity.
• Ability to manage contracts and drive efficiencies through the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties.
• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
• Proactively monitor cost variance, cash flow and timely applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams on KPIs and value engineering.
• Manage contract changes ensuring governance and best practice.
• Lead people and commissions as needed.
• Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
