Job summary

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in NEC contract management and significant experience within the utilities sector. Key responsibilities include leading contract administration, managing financial performance, and overseeing risk management processes. Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience within the utilities, water, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong financial literacy and experience in cost management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects (£5m–£100m+).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrable experience in dispute avoidance and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial administration of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Own project commercial performance, including forecasting and cost control.
• Lead commercial risk identification and reporting processes.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring strong commercial governance.
