Job description

NES Fircroft has a great opportunity for a Senior Technical Assistant to be based within our client's core team at Mossmorran. This role is suited for someone with knowledge of NDT and Inspection Engineering and a strong technical administration background.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, populate, and develop inspection databases (IMS).
2. Prepare and participate in RBI activities.
3. Process and archive reports, certificates, and CAIR Cat 1 (MCDRs).
4. Outline scopes and collate work packs.
5. Develop a thorough understanding of Inspection data management systems and their use in Integrity Management.
6. Provide guidance and support to ensure correct administration processes and policies are followed.
7. Manage and support Technical Assistants & Administrators for efficient operation.
8. Assist in preparing inspection work-scopes, work-packs, implementation plans, and progress reports under project guidance.
9. Accurately input and maintain data within project databases.
10. Update existing inspection isometrics as required.
11. Create new inspection isometrics from manufacturer drawings, maintaining a list of new isometrics.
12. Support other administrative activities as needed.
13. Maintain all documentation in line with quality management standards.
14. Attend related project meetings as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in inspection activities, office practice, or technical data handling.
• Experience with computer-based technology.
• UK right to work is essential.

Desirable Experience:

• NDT knowledge
• SAP experience
