Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to perform MPI and Dye Penetrant inspections on components in a permanent role. You will inspect for surface and near-surface defects, document results, and maintain high quality standards.

The position offers a fixed late shift with a 17% allowance and a total package aligned to experience. Location is Dudley with a basic salary up to £32,000, plus a total package of £33,930–£37,440 per year and clear opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Experienced in MPI and DPI inspection methods.
• NDT Level 2 qualifications in MPI and DPI.
• Able to interpret inspection results accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
• Perform Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI/PT).
• Inspect components for surface and near-surface defects.
• Interpret inspection results and report defects.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Identify and report non-conformances and maintain traceability.
