Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd. seeks a Systems Engineer to join our Devon-based team, supporting development, integration and testing of complex naval systems.

You will drive requirements capture, architecture, verification and acceptance, coordinating across mechanical, electrical and software disciplines. Hybrid and flexible working is offered, with a 37.5-hour week, early finish on Fridays, and a strong focus on training and career development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or physical science required.
• 1–3 years engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge across mechanical, electrical and software engineering.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage system requirements.
• Support system architecture, design and safety analysis.
• Contribute to technical risk management and engineering plans.
• Develop test specifications and gather verification evidence.
• Produce procurement specifications and technical reports.
• Participate in design reviews and environmental qualification planning.
• Support system integration, commissioning and acceptance activities.
