Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a Systems Engineer on behalf of an established engineering organisation in Devon to support development, integration and testing of complex naval solutions.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team across mechanical, electrical and software domains, from requirements capture and system architecture through verification, testing and acceptance, including installation, commissioning and trials aboard naval platforms. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a physical science.
• 13 years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge across mechanical, electrical and software engineering.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and problem-solving skills.
• A methodical approach and strong attention to detail.

An established engineering organisation is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its team in Devon, supporting the development, integration and testing of complex engineering solutions for the naval sector.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure mechanical, electrical and software systems work together effectively, contributing to projects from requirements capture and system architecture through to verification, testing and acceptance.

The role also involves supporting installation, commissioning and acceptance trials aboard naval platforms, with relevant safety training provided.
