Babcock’s Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme at Devonport, Plymouth, offers placements across Design Authority, Plant Management, Safety Case and Operational Support. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience or exposure to mechanical systems and design development is desirable.
• Ability to produce engineering drawings and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Support activities across the engineering lifecycle for mechanical systems.
• Contribute to design development, construction and commissioning activities.
• Conduct analyses, produce CAD drawings and technical reports.
• Assist inspections and validations including onboard submarines.
