Job summary

Manpower in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Architect to define the solution architecture and design for projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and architectural governance.

You will capture current and future architectures, provide Technical Authority leadership, and drive governance across changes. The role involves international programmes and digital transformation in manufacturing, onsite two days weekly and a salary up to £80k plus a 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying major IT applications to support business processes.
• Proven experience with architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Understanding of IT lifecycle and governance processes (Agile methods).

Responsibilities

• Define the solution architecture and design to meet business and system requirements.
• Capture as-is and to-be architectures for projects.
• Provide Project Technical Authority leadership.
• Provide design management and governance through changes.
• Govern architecture and long-term health of IT estate.
• Work on international programmes and support digital transformation in manufacturing.
