Job summary

Manpower UK in Renfrewshire is seeking a permanent IT Solution Architect to shape and implement systems across the Naval Ships setting. The role requires owning architecture governance, standards adoption and the long-term wellbeing of the technology estate, with two days onsite each week.

You will produce solution designs, document current and target landscapes, provide technical authority leadership, and work on international programmes with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of IT lifecycle and governance processes, including Agile
• Experience designing, developing and deploying major IT applications that support business processes
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and governance within projects

Responsibilities

• Define the solution architecture and design to meet business and system requirements within cost/time constraints
• Capture as-is and to-be architecture for applications, data and technology in the projects
• Provide technical authority leadership and governance through change and configuration management
