Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Systems Proving Engineer to join the Naval Based Air Defence Integration and Validation team. The role involves planning, executing trials, and coordinating data collection across laboratory, harbour, and sea trials, including foreign locations.

You will work with engineering and design teams to resolve issues, generate documentation, and deliver Trials Readiness Reviews. Travel within the UK and abroad is expected, with a comprehensive package including

Qualifications

Proven experience in System Integration and design proving and trials.
Experience in Naval integration and missile testing.
Knowledge of interface design and system assessment.
Experience with design verification and electrical/mechanical interfacing.
Experience with electronic design/testing and network integration.

Responsibilities

Work with systems engineering and design teams to plan, generate and execute trials.
Liaise with the systems engineering team and design teams to ensure adequate trials data is acquired and to investigate and resolve design issues.
Generate trials documentation.
Prepare, deliver and follow up internal and external Trials Readiness Reviews.
Conduct post trials data analysis and reporting.
Conduct and/or support trials including laboratory based functional integration, system, ground based, harbour, sea, firing trials and trials in foreign countries.
Lab management responsibilities (risk assessments, asset management, audits, lab safety).
Maintain hardware and software configuration control.
