Job summary

Norfolk FWAG (Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group) seeks two experienced and highly motivated Project Managers to lead a programme of Nature-based Solutions across the East of England, in partnership with Anglian Water’s Partnership Centre of Excellence. The roles are fixed-term for 2 years with potential extension and possible permanent employment on success.

The positions require delivering from feasibility through funding, procurement and delivery to monitoring and reporting, with

Qualifications

Degree in environmental science, ecology, hydrology, agriculture or a related field.
Proven delivery of NbS capital works from design to implementation.
Strong understanding of NbS and their interaction with farming and land management.
Understanding of agriculture's commercial and environmental challenges.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Land App, QGIS).

Responsibilities

Lead NbS projects from feasibility to delivery, including funding, procurement and monitoring.
Develop and grow a pipeline of NbS projects across priority catchments.
Work with farmers and landowners to identify practical NbS interventions.
Prepare project designs, budgets and funding applications.
Coordinate procurement and management of contractors.
Provide progress reporting to partners and funders.
Collaborate with Anglian Water NbS group and other initiatives.
