Welocalize is expanding its accessibility tester network to validate Chinese Simplified accessibility of localized content. You will be a native-language reviewer ensuring translations read naturally, are accurate, and functional with assistive technologies across web pages, apps, and documents.

Work is project-based with a defined scope and testing checklist. You will report findings with WCAG/PDF-UA references and participate in QA reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• Native Chinese Simplified fluency; authoritative on translation quality.
• Hands-on accessibility testing with assistive tech across platforms.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and EN 301 549 requirements.
• Ability to assess content for real-world usability for screen readers.
• Access to devices/OS to replicate target locale usage.

Responsabilités

• Language Validation: verify language codes in HTML/PDF metadata.
• In-Language Screen Reader Testing: review translated text with screen readers.
• Multimedia Accessibility Review: check captions, transcripts, and labels.
• Defect Reporting: log findings with WCAG/PDF-UA references and logs.
