Welocalize is expanding its accessibility testing network to validate language-specific accessibility of localized digital content. You will act as a native French Canadian reviewer, ensuring translated elements read naturally and function well with assistive technology.

Projects are assigned with a defined scope, testing checklists, and access credentials. Findings are logged with WCAG/PDF-UA references and discussed in review calls as needed.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in French Canadian and ability to validate translated content for natural reading and usability.
• Hands-on experience testing digital content with assistive technology (AT).
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 AA and EN 301 549.
• Ability to evaluate content from a native-speaker accessibility perspective, not just technical compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Language Validation: confirm correct language codes in HTML/PDF metadata and identify mixed-language content.
• In-Language Screen Reader Testing: review translated text with native screen readers for accuracy and clarity.
• Multimedia Accessibility Review: evaluate captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions for accuracy and labeling in the target language.
• Defect Reporting: log findings with WCAG/PDF-UA references and participate in QA reviews when needed.
