Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking a professional Class 1 driver to execute nationwide collections and deliveries, with a focus on safe, compliant operations. You will handle trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving, using GPS and digital tachographs for route accuracy.

We require a UK Class 1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus at least 6 months of Class 1 experience and strong knowledge of UK roads.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence and CPC card required.
• Digital tachograph card must be held.
• At least 6 months experience with Class 1 vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and safety-focused mindset.
• Reliable, resilient and able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries across the network.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to stay compliant and route efficiently.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
