Job summary

Green Energy Access Solutions is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a national scaffolding solution delivery in partnership with Octopus Energy Services. The role demands strategic leadership, strong operations leadership, and exceptional customer focus to scale a nationwide service while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

Ideally, candidates bring scaffolding or construction operations insight, but transferable leadership and operations experience are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and operational management experience leading large-scale or national projects.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgeting, cost control and client negotiations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations nationwide with safety and quality at the core.
• Driving licence and a track record of delivering customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and nationwide rollout of a scaffolding solution to support Octopus Energy Services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulations and procedures.
• Build and manage a high-performing team across locations; recruit and develop talent.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget; maintain operational excellence.
• Oversee financial performance including P&L, budgeting and cost control.
• Foster long-term client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Embed customer-centric service delivery and continuous improvement culture.
• Drive innovation in scaffolding methods and operational delivery for efficiency and safety.
• Promote continual service quality improvements across the organization.
