National Sales Manager for NSS Group

The NSS group was formed by merging several successful businesses to create a nationwide service provider.
Your Role - Main Purpose of the Job
To generate new business revenue and profit within a specified geographical area and/or sector, aligning with the Group's Sales & Marketing Strategy. To develop existing key accounts through cross-selling and upselling, increasing revenue and profit. To meet targets outlined in the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. To promote the NSS brand to customers, competitors, and staff.
Your responsibilities include:
- Self-generate activity levels to achieve sales targets, focusing on appointments, quotes, and orders.
- Implement the sales plan to identify, target, and acquire new business across your territory.
- Develop strategic account plans with the Group Commercial Director to grow existing accounts.
- Complete bids and tender responses with support from Sales Support.
- Achieve and exceed results in line with budgets and strategies.
- Identify key contacts within customer organizations and support operational teams to leverage relationships for additional business.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals accurately and timely, constantly seeking improvement.
- Use CRM to report on sales activities, prospects, and pipelines accurately.
- Promote best practices in sales and continuous improvement.
- Assist in developing the NSS brand within the industry and marketplace.
- Present management information to major clients and support operations in managing customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written presentation skills at A Level standard.
- Experience in sales and account development, particularly with large FM or Property Management companies.
- Experience in the Facility Services industry or related sectors.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to engineer solutions for complex problems.
- Resilient, persistent, and results-driven.
- Able to build solid relationships and work collaboratively with operational colleagues.
- Ability to identify market and customer trends and propose strategies.
- Full driving license.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
