Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) seeks an enthusiastic leader to provide high quality national coordination across Scotland’s Pregnancy and Newborn Screening Programme. This is a pivotal role within SOAS to deliver oversight, governance, and a coherent strategy for national screening efforts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in programme management within a healthcare or public health setting.
• Strong skills in quality assurance and clinical governance.
• Experience working across organisational boundaries and influencing at a national level.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and national coordination across all elements of Scotland’s Pregnancy and Newborn Screening Programme.
• Shape and strengthen Scotland’s national screening programmes to improve outcomes for mothers, babies and families.
• Lead planning and management of national screening programme strategy and service change.
