Job summary

NHS Resolution invites applications for a National Obstetric Clinical Fellow in Leeds. The role is fixed-term for one year, with one post available from April 2027, performing clinical reviews and contributing to safety learning across maternity services.

The post involves leading on projects, representing NHS Resolution in external meetings, and engaging with local, regional and national stakeholders to improve patient safety and learning from incidents.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of obstetrics within the NHS.
• Experience in healthcare safety and maternity services.
• Understanding of national strategies to improve safety.

Responsibilities

• Review case files to provide clinical opinions on care and learning from claims.
• Lead on a project within NHS Resolution for publication.
• Represent NHS Resolution at external meetings with partner organisations.
• Attend local, regional and national meetings or events.
