Job summary

Just Recruitment is working with a growing business at the forefront of its sector, seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis. This national role requires frequent travel and overnight stays across the UK.

You will install and commission capital equipment, train end clients, and maintain service records. A background in mechanical field service, an engineering qualification, and a CSCS card are preferred, with opportunities to progress within the department.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical field service or mechanical installation within capital equipment.
• Engineering qualification such as NVQ, apprenticeship, City & Guilds craft certificate, or HNC/HND is preferred.
• CSCS card or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Install new equipment and conduct acceptance testing to ensure standards.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging environments.
• Work across diverse environments from construction sites to high-pressure areas.
• Maintain records of installation, commissioning, repairs and asset management in databases.
• Provide user training to end clients when required.
• Provide feedback to customers on issues raised during installation visits.
