Job summary

Just Recruitment Group is partnering with a growing business to appoint a Mechanical Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a national role with frequent travel and overnight stays required.

You will install and commission capital equipment, provide training to end users, and keep records of installations and service activity. A mechanical field service background, engineering qualification, and CSCS card are preferred, with a professional, customer‑facing approach essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical field service or mechanical installation/fitter role within capital equipment environments.
• Engineering qualification preferred (NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or HNC/HND in engineering).
• CSCS card or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Installation & commissioning of new equipment and acceptance testing to ensure standards are met.
• Provide user training to end clients when required.
• Provide feedback to customers on issues raised during installations.
• Keep accurate records of installation, commissioning, repairs and asset management in databases.
• Frequent travel and overnight stays are required.
