Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking an LGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver based in Immingham, UK. You will perform pre-use checks, operate specialist equipment, and undertake nationwide deliveries of Special Gas drums across the UK, including overnight trips.

Ideal candidates hold a HGV/LGV Cat C licence with CPC; ADR Class 2 is desirable. You should have strong defensive driving knowledge and excellent customer communication, with at least 2 years of LGV entitlement.

Qualifications

• Hold an HGV/LGV Cat C licence.
• ADR Class 2 desirable; training available.
• Driver CPC is required.
• Knowledge of defensive driving and driver regulations (including HSA).
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• High level of personal integrity.
• Have held LGV entitlement for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure roadworthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle.
• Complete daily pre-use inspection checks for vehicle and equipment.
• Operate BOC equipment (e.g., forklift/cranes) for loading/unloading; follow safety rules.
• Undertake nationwide deliveries of Special Gas drums across the UK; long-distance driving; overnight stays.
• Plan journeys to meet customer requirements while complying with driver hours/working time regs.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and operating standards at all times.
