Carrier, a brand of DERTOUR UK, is seeking a National Key Account Manager to join their trade team.

Carrier is a sophisticated brand representing beauty and elegance, and now is an ideal time to join this award-winning team! Recognized as ‘Luxury Operator of the Year’ for six consecutive years and four-time ‘Luxury Team of the Year’ winners, as voted by industry experts.

The role involves supporting and nurturing existing agent partners to grow their luxury business with Carrier through diligent account management. You will help execute trade engagement activities, including marketing campaigns, training events, and educational trips.

We value diversity, equity, and inclusion. For support during your application, please contact us, and we will discuss necessary adjustments.

The Role:

Carrier’s client portfolio is highly specialized, working with top luxury travel specialists across the UK. Effective planning and remote working are essential. You will manage relationships, promote brand awareness, and seek new business opportunities aligned with our ethos of providing exceptional service.

Opportunities for domestic and international travel include industry events, conferences, and educational trips abroad.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with travel agency decision-makers and sales staff.
  • Managing an engagement call cycle to maintain contact with key agencies.
  • Providing excellent account management, resolving operational issues, and maintaining partnerships.
  • Participating in training sessions, product launches, and events.
  • Representing Carrier at external trade events and conferences.
  • Monitoring bookings and recognizing agent efforts.
  • Developing new agency partnerships and onboarding new clients.
  • Providing weekly activity feedback and leveraging social media groups.
  • Contributing to team meetings and planning regional events and educational trips.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Carrier's values and marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with flexibility for UK-wide events and travel.
  • Based centrally in the UK, with 3-4 days on the road weekly.
  • Recent knowledge of the UK luxury travel market and established agency relationships preferred.

You will:

  • Act professionally and be results-driven.
  • Be self-motivated and organized.
  • Be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Have integrity and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Own a car and hold a valid driving license.

Package:

  • 23 days annual leave, increasing with service.
  • Company mobile and laptop.
  • Additional benefits include travel discounts, pension, flexible hours, cycle scheme, and unpaid leave.
