Job summary

LRL requires an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a valid National Grid ticket to work on a substation project in Swaffham. Start Date: 19 October 2026, Duration: minimum of 6 weeks, 10-hour days, Monday to Friday with an 11 on, 3 off rotation.

Carry out mechanical fitting and installation on site, assist with positioning and assembly of equipment, follow lifting procedures and health and safety regulations, and work alongside other trades to ensure safe and efficient completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting and site assembly.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Experience on National Grid substations preferred.
