Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background – FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National | Reference: KSP/COMB

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager at a national level. The role primarily involves managing a field team, driving sales, ensuring continuous improvement in field standards, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.

This multifaceted role requires the individual to liaise, report, and support the leadership team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve store excellence and customer satisfaction
  2. Ensuring compliance and best practices are upheld to the highest standards
  3. Auditing the field team
  4. Conducting field visits in line with company expectations
  5. Providing constructive feedback, challenging poor practices, and celebrating successes
  6. Coaching, training, and onboarding new team members
  7. Building relationships with the field team and customers
  8. Driving sales performance in the field
  9. Effective time management and report submission
  10. Maintaining excellent communication skills
Key Requirements
  • Strong personal integrity and decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to travel nationally, with approximately 4 days/week in the field
  • Experience managing field sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Self-starter with good time management skills
  • Team player capable of collaborating effectively
  • Resilient, determined, and solution-oriented
  • Ability to handle conflicts confidently
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous
  • Educational qualification up to GCSE level
  • Experience or knowledge of visiting retail outlets with field sales teams
  • Proficiency in IT systems (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
Remuneration
  • Competitive annual salary with end-of-year bonus
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
