Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) is seeking a Driver Trainer to develop and deliver training for Class 1 drivers across the UK. You will coach, assess, and support drivers to meet DVSA standards and company policy, using telematics to tailor coaching and maintain training records.

The role requires travel across the UK, strong communication, and experience in practical and classroom training. A CPC, tachograph card, and a clean licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging driver training in classroom and practical settings.
• Ability to analyse telematics data to identify development needs.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and feedback skills.
• Proven track record in driver assessments and performance improvement.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver inductions for new permanent and temporary drivers.
• Conduct practical training and assessments for drivers with various licences.
• Monitor performance via telematics and identify coaching needs.
• Deliver refresher training and remedial coaching after incidents.
• Support drivers through probation with mentoring and development.
• Promote safe, legal, fuel-efficient driving in line with standards.
