Role Overview:

The National Account Manager – Wood Products will be responsible for managing a key DIY distribution account (B&Q), promoting engineered wood products, supporting product launches, and liaising with internal teams. The role covers national territory with a mix of home-based and regular travel to Southampton.

Benefits:

£9,000 annual car allowance or company car, along with full benefits.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and develop a major DIY distribution account (B&Q).
  2. Support new product launches and development.
  3. Implement pricing strategies.
  4. Coordinate with customer service, marketing, supply, and transport teams.
  5. Travel regularly to Southampton for meetings and coordination.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Proven track record in sales and account management.
  2. Experience managing large retail or DIY distribution accounts.
  3. Previous dealings with Kingfisher Group are advantageous.
  4. Experience selling timber or wood products is preferred but not essential.
  5. Strong commercial acumen and ability to secure sustainable contractual agreements.
