Job Description:

The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:

  • Managing a high-quality range of engineered wood products as a National Account Controller.
  • Managing and mentoring one direct report.
  • Focusing on managing one of our client's largest spending DIY distribution accounts (B&Q).
  • Supporting new product launches and development.
  • Involvement with pricing implementation.
  • Liaising with internal customer service, marketing, supply, and transport teams.
  • Willingness to cover national territory with regular commutes to Southampton.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven sales and account management track record.
  • Experience managing large accounts in retail/DIY distribution sectors.
  • Previous dealings with the Kingfisher Group are advantageous.
  • Experience with timber/wood products is preferred but not essential.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to create sustainable contractual agreements.
