Job Description:

Role: National Account Manager (DIY & Distribution) – Building Products

Coverage: National (2 days home based)

Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high-quality range of engineered wood products as a National Account Controller
  • Manage, develop, and mentor 1 direct report
  • Focus on managing a major DIY distribution account (B&Q)
  • Support new product launches and development
  • Implement pricing strategies
  • Coordinate with customer service, marketing, supply chain, and transport teams
  • Willing to travel nationally with regular visits to Southampton
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven sales and account management experience
  • Experience managing large retail or DIY distribution accounts
  • Previous dealings with Kingfisher Group preferred
  • Experience selling timber or wood products is a plus but not essential
  • Commercially astute with ability to negotiate sustainable contractual agreements
