About The Role

We have a National Account Manager vacancy within our Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods business which will ensure we meet and exceed our customers growth ambitions. Our head office is in Staines (hybrid working model), but travel is required to customer offices as well as our own sites across the UK.

Day to day management and development of the specific account portfolio, covering multiple categories - brand and own label. Accountable for key sales & profit KPI’s in line with business requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Sales & Margin budget targets for designated Customer portfolio
  • Ensure JBP is a working document bought into by all stakeholders and reflects and achieves sales, profit & brand objectives for Kerry
  • Ensure account activities are in line with targets and objectives and that other Kerry functions are fully aware of plans
  • Development of Customer plans aligned with Channel strategy to deliver sales and margin targets. Including revenue by category, distribution plan, wiring plan, activation plan, NPD listing and implementation,
  • Actively work with Demand Planning to ensure that the customer sales forecast is accurately reflected in the business sales forecast
  • Keep the business informed of up to date account, channel and competitor developments
  • Co-ordinate and communicate with all relevant functions to ensure correct level of contact and resource given to specific account
  • Ensure all price and commercial agreements are aligned to Kerry strategies and fully implemented with the customer
  • Work with the Trade Marketing team to develop activation (promotion/trade marketing) plans in line with budgets and that will deliver Kerry Foods strategies

Qualifications And Skills

  • Degree
  • Analyse and interpret data
  • Numerate with a good understanding of business drivers
  • Experience of proactively managing key Customer account(s) in complex channel structures
  • Analyse and interpret all available data, so as to build sound arguments to gain customer buy-in to plans
  • Understanding of commercial elements and performance of the business
  • Build a robust portfolio plan, accurately forecast account performance and communicate same to the business
  • Identify key issues and trends and proactively develop and execute a plan to address
  • Understand business capabilities
  • Good customer awareness
  • Good excel and powerpoint skills
