National Account Manager – FMCG

Remote with monthly HQ visits (Essex)

£50–£55k + Commission + Car Allowance or Company Car

Are you a commercially savvy National Account Manager passionate about health-fmcg brands? Want to work with a category leader driving innovation in the UK market?

We’re working exclusively with a well-established, fast-growing FMCG, branded consumer goods, or perishable product brand that’s renowned for its product quality and values. With a stronghold in the market and a clear succession plan, they’re looking to appoint a National Account Manager to lead and grow a key retail, hospitality, or wholesale customer and end-user portfolio.

This is a remote role with monthly visits to their vibrant Essex HQ—and it’s a fantastic time to join, with new products in the pipeline and plenty of scope to grow your career.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of key foodservice accounts (80%)
  • Spotting new opportunities and building new customer relationships (20%)
  • Collaborating closely with the NPD team to launch market-leading new products
  • Owning pricing negotiations, managing P&L, and driving customer plans
  • Leading customer-facing innovation projects from concept to shelf
  • Identifying white space through gap analysis and market intelligence
  • Regular customer visits and strategic reviews to keep growth on track

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in FMCG sales/account management (foodservice or retail)
  • Experience with NPD/EPD projects and strong customer delivery
  • Great with numbers, confident in a negotiation, and excellent at building trust
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy and sees the bigger picture
  • Degree-educated, with a UK driving licence
