Job Description: National Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven National Account Manager to oversee key relationships with national accounts in the plastic and packaging industry. The role involves developing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for national accounts, fostering strong relationships.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through consultative selling and upselling.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the industry to adapt sales strategies.
  6. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements for mutually beneficial terms.
  7. Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
  8. Stay informed on industry innovations and sustainable packaging solutions to meet client demands.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in national account management, sales, or business development in the plastics, packaging, or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
